Hi dear readers,

Sorry for not writing for a very long time indeed. I won’t make silly excuses to save myself from your complains. But, then it may make you think why after so long am I writing? The reason is a bit obvious and everyone knows about the terrorist attacks in Mumbai on 26-11. Today we celebrate one year. The memory is still fresh. Still we can feel the pain of Mumbai and India as a whole.

India remembers 26-11 anniversary – a day that reminds one of the worst attacks, a day when many people lost their lives, a day of victory of good over evil and a day when we realized we were Indians first and Hindu/Muslim/Sikh afterwards.

Mumbai, or Amchi Mumbai was witness to one of the worst terror attacks. Although now the situations have become stable, one can still remember that day when most of India was praying for people in Taj Hotel. That day it was not Hindu, not Muslim, not Sikh who was fighting (as on normal days). They were Indians who were fighting against something the world is also trying to fight with (I am talking about terrorism here).

To know more about the attacks (if you still don’t know) you can visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Mumbai_attacks .

And how far are we from that day? What did we learn from the experience?

First of all, I would salute to Indian Army and Police men who work for saving our lives risking their own. Although, most of them are corrupted (no doubt in that) but when it comes to saving our country,  that all is a secondary thing.

Secondly, I would like to thank you and every Indian out there. Yes, its our unity that keeps us going !

Thirdly, New security installed at hotels, people becoming more vigilant and now there is no looking back.We need to be prepared for anything and everything so that next time if something like this is replanned, then we beat them even before its executed.

A video I must say is must see !

Idea’s Talk for India -

Idea has come up with an innovative idea for the anniversary. Now on 26 november i.e. today you need to pick up your phone, make a phone call and talk during the “Talk For India” hour i.e. between 8:36 pm and 9:36 pm. The Net Income generated from all voice calls made by Idea subscribers within India during this one hour will be donated to the police force of India in order to strengthen it and also procuring better protective gear for them. So Schedule all your calls onto the “Talk For India” hour and also postpone any calls that you can, onto this hour.

If you are not an idea customer -

No worry, just ask you friend to call you at that time (you’re still contributing something :) )

For more info, visit their site http://www.talkforindia.co.in/

I am proud to be Indian. Lets all stand together like a shield to the terrorism. Lets raise our voice before its too late.

Lets unite

JAI HIND
